Standings, Reports and What's Next, pres. by Astoria Federal Savings

The Mets, Braves and Nationals won yesterday, while the Phillies and Marlins lost, meaning the Mets will finish no better or worse than fourth place this season.

The Mets head to Atlanta for the start of a three-game series against the Braves tomorrow night with Jon Niese (12-9, 3.49 ERA) taking on Tim Hudson (16-6, 3.61 ERA) at 7:35 pm.

The Braves, including Hank Aaron and Bobby Cox, will hold an on-field, pre-game ceremony before tonight's game to honor Chipper Jones, who has said he will retire at the end of this season.
