In four appearances, Mazzoni is 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA, having allowed three earned runs and six hits with three walks and seven strikeouts in eight innings.
Montero has a 4.50 ERA in two appearances this spring, having allowed two runs and six hits with a strikeout over four innings.
Centeno is 0-for-1 in two games so far this spring.

Both of these guys were very impressive this spring, and undoubtedly served as highlights during these early games.Mazzoni showed a good fastball but also surprised me with how well he commanded his secondary pitches. He will continue to work as a starting pitcher in the minor leagues this season, but it's going to be important for him to stay strong and remain consistent for the entire year.
Montero was electric, but still a little rough around the edges. In watching him in camp and early spring games, he reminded me of a young Pedro Martinez in terms of his appearance, arm action and movement on his pitches. He impressed with the command of his secondary pitches as well. I expect he will begin his season with Single-A St. Lucie, but he can continue to command his secondary pitches during the regular season, it will be worth watching his progress and where he ultimately lands by the end of the year.
The Mets now have 55 players in Major League camp.
