Matthew Cerrone: The Mets were at .500 heading in to Saturday, then won two in a row to stay above water' again. Also this past weekend, Ruben Tejada left Sunday's game after straining his right quad diving into first base on an infield hit.
The Mets activated D.J. Carrasco from the disabled list late Saturday, after which they optioned infielder Jordany Valdespin to Triple-A Buffalo.
The Boston Globe reported that teams are calling the Mets to see if they would be interested in dealing Bobby Parnell.
Tonight at 7 pm, Jon Niese (2-1, 4.08 ERA) will open a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park tonight against Phillies ace Roy Halladay (3-2, 3.40 ERA).
The Mets announced last week that Miguel Batista will start on Tuesday against Phillies.
