Ike Davis, Mets agree to one-year, $3.1m contract

The Mets and Ike Davis have agreed to a one-year, $3.125 million contract, according to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York.

MLB Trade Rumors predicted Davis would earn $2.8 million through arbitration ' he has three more years of arbitration left before he is eligible for free agency.

In 156 games in 2012, Davis hit .227 with a .308 OBP and .771 OPS, 32 home runs and 90 RBI in 584 plate appearances.
