In a post to Twitter, Pedro Feliciano says his most recent heart tests have come back clear and he can resume baseball activities.
Feliciano has a rare genetic condition called left ventricular noncompaction. He will be required to wear a heart monitor, Terry Collins later told reporters.
'He's cleared to do everything, which is a great sign,' Collins said. 'Obviously, since he hasn't thrown in a while, I'm sure Dan has a schedule to throw him a couple times to make sure it doesn't inhibit him from doing some stuff.'
According to Collins, Feliciano should have enough time to get ready for the season.
