Brian Erni, MetsBlog.com:
It's hard to imagine a better story line for Team USA. All tournament, Wright has registered big numbers, and last night, he did it with his friend Sgt. Felix Perez on hand. The best news for Mets fans? Wright seems very content to take pitches the other way ' a tell tale sign of when Wright is at his best offensively. Tonight, both of his hits were scorched to the opposite field. If he can keep this up, the 'captain' may be poised for another big start.Team USA will return to action on Thursday night against the Dominican Republic. Game time is 7:00 pm.
